Extent of data collection and storage

In general, the usage of our website does not require the collection or processing of personal data. Information like name, address, telephone number or email address, etc. is not recorded, unless you provide such information on your own accord, e.g. by sending us an email or a request via the contact form on our website.

Commerce Connector does not forward any data collected during the use of our website to third parties.

Whenever you access our website or retrieve a data file therefrom, your browser will automatically transmit data, in particular including your IP address, the selected language, the name of the accessed file or page, the date and time of access, the data volume transmitted, a confirmation of successful retrieval, as well as the details of your browser and operating system and the referring domain. The processing of such information is indispensable to allow the usage of our website, since a successful access requires the adaption of the respective user browser and requires the details of the IP address to allow communication. The IP address of the user will be automatically and completely deleted after 14 days at the latest.

Anonymised data analysis

For purposes of analysis, control and optimisation of our website, we store – in anonymised form – some of the abovementioned information, which comprises:

  • the IP address, the last two digits of which are anonymised
  • the language selected by the user
  • the site from which the user has been forwarded, if any
  • the browser and plug-ins used by the accessing user

Right to information and right of objection

If entries of a user have to be verified via a so-called “Captcha-Code”, which is e.g. the case when a user requests its login data or wishes to send a message via the contact form. (2) Usage of the password-protected administrator area
For the usage of the password-protected administrator area the cookie will store a distinctive session ID which allows the allocation of data stored on the server side (e.g. login data, selected language) to a specific user. generic name This cookie with a generic name is exclusively set for the usage of the password-protected administrator area, where it only caches user data that is utilised and displayed within the administrator area (e.g. user name, time of last login, pre-installed country of origin).
opened-filter-well This cookie is solely set in connection with the usage of the administrator area. It stores information on whether or not the user has activated a filter function for the evaluation of statistical data or for the administrator surface of the administration area in order to preserve such settings for a renewed upload of the webpage.

Newsletter

On our website, you can elect to subscribe to our newsletter. Doing so requires providing an email address. Giving additional information such as your name is voluntary and is only used to personally address you in the newsletter.
